拉頭
The slider joins or separates the elements when the zipper is opened
or closed. Various types of sliders are available depending on use.
咪齒
Small pieces (metal or plastic) applied to the sides of the two facing
tapes, shaped so as to fasten and to release when the slider is moved.
Two rows of teeth coupled as described, are called a "chain".
布帶
It is the fabric support on which the small teeth of the chain are applied:
the zip fastener is composed of two combined toothed tapes. A sequence
of small teeth applied to one single tape is called a "half chain".
拉片
The movable and prehensile part of the slider.
上止
Two devices affixed to the bottom end of a zipper, to prevent the slider
from coming off the chain.
下止
A device affixed to the bottom end of a zipper, to prevent further movement
of the half of the zipper from separating.
